The people of New Hope will uphold and strengthen the traditional family as God’s biblical ideal, while loving and embracing non-traditional families and singles.

At New Hope Christian Assembly we know that we are the people of God, and that we have been called by his name, and that our purpose in this world is not to merely survive, but to live a life that brings glory to the Kingdom of God and to advance His plans in this world.

This is no small realization or responsibility when the people of God recognize that we have a divinely ordained purpose in this life. Understanding God's plan and responding intentionally is why we have developed a four part purpose statement.

Exaltation

The Word of God teaches us that we are made to worship and honour God. We were purpose built for fellowship and relationship with Jesus Christ.

We engage in the fulfillment of this purpose through:

a. Meaningful worship (from our hearts to God's heart)
b. Prayer (effectual and fervent)
c. Songs of praise
d. Adoration
e. Admonishment
f. Singing and making melody in our hearts to the Lord
g. And administer the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s supper.

Edification

Edification is the process of building one another in understanding and knowledge. While we are certain that a real relationship with God demands an emotional response, it cannot, and is not a replacement for the pursuit of scholarly understanding and knowledge. We seek to learn more about our faith and the object our faith (The Father, Son and Holy Spirit) through:

a. Sermons
b. Bible studies
c. Small groups and other resources that are designed to help believers grow spiritually.

Equipping

As a body of believers we work hard to allow each person to find their place of service, calling and gifting. The process of discovery of these talents and the refinement of them for God's purpose is the process of equipping the saints.

Evangelism

People all around us are wandering through this life without hope or direction and we have found the Truth in the Word of God. The Word of God teaches us to "be prepared, in season and out of season, to give an answer for the hope that lies within us." New Hope Christian Assembly actively engages in outreach ministry to our community, our city and the world. We hold community events, sponsor missionaries and send out evangelists to carry our message of Love and Hope to the world.
