A Young Adult worship and ministry experience at New Hope on Saturday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m
One of the worst things about attending a church for the first time is not knowing what to EXPECT. This section will help you to get to know a little bit about our fellowship before you get to the door. Our goal is that New Hope is a comfortable environment where everyone can be free to express worship and connect with God without reservation. We believe church should be a place where the entire family can come worship God, learn the Bible, and have a good time.
If it’s been a long time since you’ve been to church, New Hope wants you to relax! There’s already enough for you have to think about when you’re visiting a church for the first time. We hope that getting some of the following questions out of the way not only encourages you to join us for church, but also helps you to connect with the hope and encouragement that God has for you.

Do You Have Childcare? [TOP]
Our ministry is designed for the whole family. During our morning worship service, we provide Kid`s Church for ages first through the sixth grade.
What is the preaching like? [TOP]
At New Hope, it is our sincere desire to share God's Word in all its truth without watering anything down, but to do it in love, and in ways that are interesting, engaging and relevant to your daily life. While the Bible certainly does convict us of our sin in order to point out our lost condition, the overarching theme of the entire Bible is God's unconditional love for all humankind, as is shown by God sending His precious Son, Jesus, to pay the price for our sin. If you attend one of our services, you will hear the truths of God's Word presented passionately, clearly, and lovingly in ways that will make sense to you. Come expecting to learn something from Pastor Seeon's biblical messages that can be applied to your everyday living. What you learn on Sunday, you'll be able to use throughout the week and know that it came from the Bible.
What kind of music do you have? [TOP]
We believe that God has inspired people throughout the ages to write hymns and songs of praise and that He continues to inspire musicians from all generations to write music that praises Him and brings glory to His name.
The focus of all of our worship service is to bring glory to God and to support and encourage every worshipper in their journey of faith.
It is our desire to provide a passionate, contemporary and upbeat style of music. We also blend our music with a balance of worshipful and meditative songs to help people connect with God in an intimate way.
We are a contemporary-styled church, but we value the "old hymns" as well. Most of all, we strive for our worship to be real - a reflection of our hearts for God. So wether we are playing Reggae, Southern Gospel, modern worship or classic hymns, we will give glory to God with passion and freedom.
What kind of church are you? [TOP]
New Hope is Bible based, and Jesus is the central focus. We are affiliated with the Pentacostal Assemblies of Canada. We are thankful for the prayer and support we are receiving as we launch New Hope for God's glory.
The Pentacostal Assemblies of Canada operates on a cooperative fellowship relationship... this allows our missions dollars to be used more effectively while still maintaining complete autonomy as a local church. We choose our own pastor, own our own buildings and assets, and determine our own ministries.
Why do newcomers make New Hope their church home? [TOP]
Based on their feedback, it is clear that newcomers experience New Hope as a safe place to be. Preaching and teaching are Biblical and balanced, leaders are not overbearing but committed to serve, children are well cared for, and everyone feels the openness, comfort and encouragement of a caring Christian fellowship. Most newcomers find that friends are easily made. Many of us live alone or far from relatives, or come from difficult family backgrounds, so New Hope serves for many as a healthy Christian family.
How often do you partake of Communion? [TOP]
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of every month.

New Hope conducts a short course on the fundamental Truths about Christian Living found in the Word of God. After a newcomer completes this course, they can fill out a membership application and turn it in to the church office, or you may give your application to one of our greeters at any church service. All believers in Jesus Christ who have been scripturally baptized are eligible candidates for membership.
Do I have to be a Member to participate? [TOP]
At New Hope you do not have to be a member to participate in any area of worship! We offer many events and opportunities to the community and encourage participation by all members and non-members. Membership is important though and we offer sessions that allow people interested in connecting with New Hope in more significant ways to get plugged in.
What do you believe about God, the Bible, & stuff like that? [TOP]
Great question! If you know much about Christianity, our belief system would be similar to most evangelical churches. We believe there is one God made up of the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible is God's Word and that it is useful for applying to our lives in the 21st Century. We believe that God loved people like you and us so much that he sent Jesus to teach us and then to save us from our sins.
If you don't agree with these beliefs, that's okay! You are still welcome at New Hope Christian Assembly. We want to help people see why these beliefs are important and can actually aide you in your daily life. Keep in mind that we aren't going to be changing our beliefs on these important areas, but we aren't afraid to talk about them with you either. If you want to know the nitty gritty of our Eternal Values, just click on the link and enjoy the read!
You will find New Hope Christian Assembly to be a loving church where freedom in Christ is practiced. But, at the same time, you can rest in knowing that we are also a church that holds unswervingly to God's precious Word in order to provide a solid anchor for your family during these changing times.
