To keep this beautiful Loaves & Fishes ministry thriving, we truly need everyone’s participation — it takes a village! There are still many open spots on the clipboard, so please let us know what you’re bringing. We’d love a good mix of hot and cold dishes, meat and vegetarian options, plus some desserts.
Helpful guidelines so everything runs smoothly:
- Please prepare your dish at home as much as possible.
We want you to be able to fully enjoy the service upstairs instead of working in the kitchen. - Try to make it as easy on yourself as you can — we value your presence and rest more than fancy presentation!
Set-Up & Clean-Up Crew – We need at least 6 people
- Set-Up Crew (arrive ~30 minutes early): Help start the coffee, put out napkins, cutlery, plates, and arrange the tables/food.
- Clean-Up Crew (stay ~20–30 minutes after): Help tidy the space, wipe tables, and take garbage out to the dumpster.
Important reminder for everyone:
At the end of the meal, please take your own dishes home with you and pitch in with clean-up before leaving — including helping carry garbage to the dumpster. These small acts of shared responsibility keep our potluck loving, respectful, and well-organized. This is also a wonderful opportunity to connect with one another, ask questions, share ideas, and talk about how we can continue running this ministry in a coordinated, caring way that honors everyone involved.
