Dear New Hope Family,
This Mother’s Day, we pause to celebrate the incredible women God has placed in our lives—the mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, and mother figures whose love, sacrifice, and faithful prayers have shaped us in ways words can barely express. At New Hope, we believe motherhood reflects the tender, strong, and nurturing heart of our Heavenly Father. The Bible beautifully honors mothers, reminding us of their priceless value.
As Proverbs 31:28-29 (NIV) says:
“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.’”
This year, the men of New Hope Church, led by Pastor Alan Pysar, want to live out this spirit of honor in a practical and joyful way. On Mother’s Day, the men will cook a delicious meal and handle all the cleaning so the women in our church family can simply relax, be served, and feel deeply appreciated.
Pastor Catherine Pysar will also be personally handing out beautiful roses to all the moms that day as a special token of appreciation and love. Whether you’re a mom in the thick of raising little ones, a seasoned grandmother pouring wisdom into the next generation, or a woman who has mothered others through friendship, mentoring, or care—we want you to feel seen, valued, and celebrated.
Event Details:
- Date: Sunday, May 10th
- Time: After the morning service (approximately 12 Noon)
- Location: New Hope Church Fellowship Hall
Come as you are and let the men of the church serve you with joy! No cooking, no cleanup—just good food, warm fellowship, and a chance to be refreshed in the Lord.
If you’re a man reading this, we invite you to join Pastor Alan and the brothers of New Hope in this act of service.
It’s a beautiful opportunity to live out God’s command to “honor your father and your mother” (Exodus 20:12) and to bless the women who have blessed us so richly.
Mothers, you are loved.
You are prayed for.
You are a gift from God.
We can’t wait to honor you this Mother’s Day!
In Christ’s love,
New Hope Church Family
