To help us promote your event effectively, keep everything consistent, and look professional,
please follow these simple guidelines.

- Create a Free Canva Account (Takes Less Than 2 Minutes)
Go to www.canva.com
Click Sign up and create a free account using your email, Google, or Apple ID.
- (Optional but Recommended) Generate a Beautiful Image with ChatGPT
Go to chatgpt.com and sign in with a free account.
Use a prompt similar to this:
“Create a warm, inviting image for a church event poster. Suggested size: 1500 px wide by 784 px high. [Brief description of your event]. Use welcoming colors and a hopeful, joyful feel suitable for New Hope Church.”
Download the image you like best.
- Design Your Event Poster in Canva
In Canva, create a new design and set the exact size to 1500 px wide by 784 px high.
Upload the ChatGPT image (or any suitable photo) as your background.
Add only the basic information:
- Eye-catching Title (keep it short and bold)
- Short Subtitle (one sentence describing what the event is)
- Date(s) and Time(s) (include start and finish times)
- Location
Keep the poster clean and simple.
Important: Direct people to our website for full details by including:
www.thereishope.ca
Tip: The poster should only contain the essential info. All extra details belong on the website.
- Submit Your Event Details (At Least ONE MONTH in Advance)
Email the completed information to the church administrator at nhca4u@gmail.com
Please include:
- Your finished poster file (1500 px × 784 px)
- Event Title (short and standout)
- Subtitle (brief description of the event)
- Location
- Date(s)
- Time(s) – start and finish times
- Is it recurring? (Yes/No and how often, e.g. weekly, monthly)
- Full Description – more details about the event, including any links to your own website or social media
- Registration Link (if applicable)
- Contact Information – your phone number and email (so people can reach the organizer directly)
You may also attach the original event details from your website or social media if you already have them written.
Why Submit One Month Ahead?
This gives us time to review everything, create the web listing, and promote your event across our platforms (website, social media, etc.).
