We begin with a moment of “T’anks be to God.”
For the time that slips away caring for my family, because it means I have people who need me and love me.
For the mess of dishes, because it means I have the supplies to make the desserts I love to share.
For the dog hair on the carpet, because it means I have the love of a loyal friend.
For the couch, the TV, and a fridge full of food when I am sick, because it means I am cared for and have comfort when I need it most.
For the never-ending pile of laundry, because it means my family has clothes to wear and a home full of life.
For the sticky fingerprints on the windows, because they mean little ones have visited and filled my house with laughter.
For the bulletin that needs one more edit before it goes out, because it means our church family has gathered and has news to share.
