New Hope Church Weekly Home Prayer Meeting Connect Group
We've started Monday night prayer meetings again!
We invite those who are able, and who live near that evening's host home, to join us in person. If you can't attend, we invite you to pray at home at the same time for whatever needs the Lord puts on your heart for NHC.
Meetings begin with a praise song or two, either online or on CD, followed by prayer for NHC's needs.
We invite each host and facilitator to contact NHC attendees in their area to invite them and, where possible, to arrange rides so that those with a vehicle can pick up those without one.

We invite you to gather with us on Zoom for heartfelt conversation, fervent prayer, and a deep dive into God's Word. Whether you're joining from your phone, tablet, or computer, your presence is valued and makes a difference. Participate at your comfort level. You can keep your video and microphone muted if you prefer, or take an active part in the discussion. We always close our time together by lifting one another up in prayer.
There's something powerful about coming together as a church family, even virtually, to grow in faith, encourage one another, and seek God's guidance and grace.

Keeping Up with the Search for Noah's Ark
Many of us have wondered what lies beneath the surface of the boat-shaped formation at Durupınar in eastern Turkey, near Mount Ararat. A dedicated international research team is investigating the site with technology never before used there. They use ground penetrating radar (GPR), electrical resistivity tomography (ERT), and LiDAR, all without digging up or damaging the site.
According to the team, earlier GPR scans detected right angles and linear structures about 7 meters below the surface. These are not what you would expect from natural rock. This year's plans include sonic core drilling to recover geological samples, deeper scans, and robotic cameras to look into underground voids.

A Thanksgiving Message for October 12th
"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever." (Psalm 107:1)
This Thanksgiving, New Hope Church family, we pause to thank God for His faithfulness, His provision, and His steady love. We thank Him for the harvest and for the daily blessings we often overlook: food on our tables, a roof over our heads, and the gift of one another.
We are especially grateful for each volunteer, prayer warrior, musician, cook, and friend who makes this church a place of welcome. May your Thanksgiving be filled with joy, good food, laughter, and the peace of Christ.
