Pastor Appreciation Month: October 2026
It's that joyful time of year again! October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we're rolling out the red carpet for our incredible pastors. Their faithful leadership, tireless hearts, and selfless service have touched every one of us. Now it's our turn to say a big, loud THANK YOU!
We're planning a joyful surprise they'll never forget, and you're invited to be part of it.
Give a Gift of Appreciation
Please give by Sunday, October 18th
- Cash: Place it in a tithing envelope marked "Pastor Appreciation" and drop it in the offering box.
- Cheque: Make it payable to New Hope Christian Assembly, write "Pastor Appreciation" in the memo line, and place it in a tithing envelope.
- Debit: Use the machine at church and mark "Pastor Appreciation" on your tithing envelope.
- E-Transfer: Send to nhca4u@gmail.com with "Pastor Appreciation" in the message field.
Can't give financially right now? That's perfectly okay!
Heartfelt gestures mean just as much. You could:
- Write a personal note or card
- Create a poem or song
- Bake their favorite treat
- Give a gift from the heart
- Share a kind word in person or offer a prayer
Where to Bring Your Gifts and Notes
Please submit your cards, notes, poems, gifts, and any other expressions of appreciation to Marcia or the church office. We'll gather everything together so it can be presented all at once.
The Big Surprise
On Sunday, October 25th, we'll present our pastors with everything we've collected throughout the month: the gifts, the notes, the kind words, and the love of our whole church family. Let's keep it a secret and fill the room with smiles and joy!
